Wheat grass is beneficial not only to humans and cats but other animals as well. Previous research on the benefits of wheat grass for chickens proved to be effective when agricultural scientist Dr. Charles F. Schnabel tried to improve the health of sickly chickens in 1930. He observed chickens seeking out young wheat grasses to eat. This inspired him to research the effects of wheatgrass on the health of his chickens. He decided to feed plenty of wheatgrass to the sick birds. The sick chickens completely regained their strength! They also increased their egg production. You can read more about the story here.

Benefits of Kelp/Iodine

There is a nuclear power station located on the north shore of Lake Ontario in Pickering, Ontario. It is important to have a sufficient amount of iodine in the body, so you don't take on radioactive iodine that may be present in the environment.
Kelp is one of the most iodine rich seaweeds and foods known, enriching cellular health and balance!

Strawberries pack 10% of our daily iodine needs. One cup of fresh organic strawberries has approximately 13/mcg of iodine.
